Going to Japan

Sunday morning, I’ll be heading to the airport bright and early (actually, before daylight) to head to Tokyo, Japan for a little over a week to meet with the growing openSUSE community in Japan.

This is going to be a very busy and exciting trip. I’ve never been to Japan before, but I hear wonderful things, and I’m really excited to have an opportunity like this. I’ve seen more of the world this year than in my previous 37 years, or at least I’ve covered more mileage. (And my Gold status on Delta confirms that!)

If anyone in the vast Dissociated Press readership (both of you) has suggestions or tips on travel in Japan, I’d love to hear ‘em. There’s not a lot of free time in the schedule, but I hope to make the most of what I have after the jet lag goes away. :-)
