OK, couldn’t resist the song reference. I’m getting some stuff together in case it’s necessary to bug out today due to Tropical Storm / Hurricane Fay. Would have been more convenient last week while I was on vacation, but the weather doesn’t seem to schedule itself according to what would be convenient for anybody…
The weather reports are varied and too fungible at the moment to make a concrete decision about leaving the area during the storm, but right now we’re leaning towards bugging out and letting discretion be the better part of valor. I’d prefer a better forecast.
If I do bug out, I’ll try to post regular updates to the blog. Hoping that it’ll weaken and not turn into a hurricane at all, but I don’t know that the odds are good on that.
