New site, new look soon

The blog has been transplanted from a site at Yahoo! hosting to my current employer’s hosting facility, Data393.com. Several reasons for the switch… first of all, I tend to believe that you should “eat your own dogfood,” so to speak, by using the products that you make a living with.

Second, I decided it was time to move because Yahoo is strictly one account, one domain name. Since I own several low-traffic domains, I don’t see any point to paying for multiple hosting packages that don’t come close to utilizing the resources of the first hosting package.

So, the blog has moved. Later this week this year if I ever get around to it I plan to re-skin the site to aim for a more attractive look.

In the meantime, check out my new blog on ZDNet. It’s a joint venture with ZDNet and Corante, and should be lots of fun…
